Bedene - Tsitsipas: The Slovenian withdrew in the 4th round Stefanos (vids)
Stefanos Tsitsipas was ahead with 2-0 sets and 3-1 in the 3rd of Aliaz Bendene and the latter withdrew due to injury with the Greek advancing in the 4th round.
In the 4th round of Roland Garros, Stefanos Tsitsipas qualified for the 2nd consecutive year.
The Greek tennis player (No6) prevailed with 6-1, 6-2 in the first 2 sets and in the 3-1 of the 3rd Aliaz Bendene who had a problem in his right foot withdrew and so Stefanos Tsitsipas is in the "16" and will wait for Dimitrov's fight with Baenia to find out his opponent.
It is the 2nd consecutive year that the Greek is in the 4th round in Paris while he now has 4 appearances in the 4th round of the Grand Slam. In 2019 he reached the semifinals at the Australian Open, in 2018 in the 4th round at Wimbledon and in 2019 and 2020 in the 4th round at Roland Garros.
The match lasted 1 hour and 20 '.

Ο Στέφανος Τσιτσιπάς προηγήθηκε με 2-0 σετ και 3-1 στο 3ο του Αλιάζ Μπέντενε και ο τελευταίος αποσύρθηκε λόγω τραυματισμού με τον Έλληνα να προκρίνεται στον 4ο γύρο.
Στον 4ο γύρο του Roland Garros προκρίθηκε για 2η συνεχόμενη χρονιά ο Στέφανος Τσιτσιπάς.
Ο Έλληνας τενίστας (Νο6) επικράτησε με 6-1, 6-2 στα 2 πρώτα σετ και στο 3-1 του 3ου ο Αλιάζ Μπέντενε που είχε πρόβλημα στο δεξί πόδι αποσύρθηκε και έτσι ο Στέφανος Τσιτσιπάς είναι στους "16" και θα περιμένει τον αγώνα του Ντιμιτρόφ με τον Μπαένια για να μάθει τον αντίπαλο του.
Είναι η 2η συνεχόμενη χρονιά που ο Έλληνας είναι στον 4ο γύρο στο Παρίσι ενώ πλέον έχει 4 παρουσίες σε 4ο γύρο σε Grand Slam. Το 2019 έφτασε στον ημιτελικό στο Australian Open, το 2018 στον 4ο γύρο στο Wimbledon και το 2019 και 2020 στον 4ο γύρο στο Roland Garros.

Συνεχίζει απτόητος
Με μπρέικ στο 3ο γκέιμ ο Στέφανος Τσιτσιπάς θα προηγηθεί με 2-1 στο 2ο σετ και ο Μπέντενε με το σερβίς του θα μειώσει σε 3-2.
Το 4-2 είναι για τον Έλληνα τενίστα ο οποίος με μπρέικ θα φτάσει στο 5-2! Με 3 άσους θα κερδίσει το 8ο γκέιμ και μετά από 1' ώρα αγώνα θα προηγηθεί με 2-0 στα σετ.
Στο ξεκίνημα του 3ου σετ ο Μπέντενε θα σβήσει διπλό μπρέικ πόιντ για να προηγηθεί με 1-0 αλλά ο Τσιτσιπάς με μπρέικ θα φτάσει στο 2-1.
Ο Στέφανος Τσιτσιπάς θα σβήσει μπρέικ πόιντ στο 4ο για να φτάσει στο 3-1. Στο 5ο γκέιμ θα αποσυρθεί λόγω τραυματισμού ο Αλιάζ Μπέντενε.
