Brunei Fernandes is now part of Manchester United, and he said in his first statements that Cristiano Ronaldo played a mediating role in moving the deal and the player to move from the Reds to Sporting Liverpool.
The 25-year-old midfielder has signed a 5.5-year contract and the Red Devils have given him 55m euros for his transfer. With Sporting he had 137 appearances, scored 63 goals and scored 52 assists. He has made 19 appearances with the Portuguese national team, being part of the team that won the Nations League in 2019.
