Ο Γιάννης Μπουρούσης επιστρέφει στην Ευρώπη και συγκεκριμένα στην Ισπανία, καθώς η Γκραν Κανάρια ανακοίνωσε τη συμφωνία της μαζί του!
Έπειτα, λοιπόν, από μία τριετία σε Παναθηναϊκό και Κίνα, ο 36χρονος σέντερ θα αγωνιστεί ξανά στην ACB, ενώ θα συνεργαστεί με τον Φώτη Κατσικάρη, ο οποίος έχει αναλάβει τον πάγκο της ομάδας από τα Κανάρια Νησιά
Ο Μπουρούσης γνωρίζει πολύ καλά το ισπανικό πρωτάθλημα, έχοντας αγωνιστεί σε Ρεάλ Μαδρίτης (2013-15) και Μπασκόνια (2015/16), ενώ την προηγούμενη διετία ήταν στην Κίνα και τους Λάιονς, με τους οποίους φέτος είχε κατά μέσο όρο 17,2 πόντους και 11,4 ριμπάουντ.
