Με «λυτρωτή» στο δεύτερο λεπτό των καθυστερήσεων τον Κασάδο, ο οποίος πέρασε ως αλλαγή, η Ξάνθη νίκησε 1-0 μέσα στην Κασσιόπη και έτσι έκανε σημαντικό βήμα πρόκρισης για τα νοκ άουτ του Κυπέλλου!

Οι «Ακρίτες»… φλέρταραν με τον πρόωρο αποκλεισμό, αλλά το γκολ του Κασάδο στο τρίτο λεπτό των καθυστερήσεων τους έδωσε τη νίκη (1-0) μέσα στην Κασσιόπη και πλέον η πρόκριση στη νοκ άουτ φάση του Κυπέλλου είναι στα δικά τους χέρια!
Μοιρασμένο ήταν το παιχνίδι στο πρώτο ημίχρονο, με τις δύο ομάδες να είχαν κάποιες καλές στιγμές για να πάρουν το προβάδισμα, αλλά το 0-0 να μένει μέχρι τέλος. Στο δεύτερο μέρος, πέρασε ο Κασάδο στην αναμέτρηση, με τους φιλοξενούμενους να γίνονται ακόμη πιο απειλητικοί.
