Η Ρεάλ Μαδρίτης μπήκε στο Game 4 της σειράς με το «τριφύλλι» με το πόδι στο... γκάζι, ήταν ανώτερη για 25' και έκανε το 3-1, αφού είχε φτάσει μέχρι το +22 και μπόρεσε να κρατήσει το «πάνω χέρι», όταν ήρθε το «πράσινο» ξέσπασμα στο φινάλε. Έτσι, προκρίθηκε στο Final Four του Βελιγραδίου, έχοντας ώθηση από το μπρέικ στο ΟΑΚΑ και τη νίκη της στο κομβικό, όπως αποδείχθηκε, Game 3.
Στην αντίπερα όχθη, οι «πράσινοι» έμοιαζαν ανέτοιμοι στο ξεκίνημα του τέταρτου αγώνα της σειράς και δεν θύμισαν τον καλό τους εαυτό και στις δύο πλευρές του παρκέ για περίπου 30'. Η «πράσινη» άμυνα στο πρώτο ημίχρονο δέχθηκε 51 πόντους, ενώ το «τριφύλλι» είχε αρκετά νεκρά διαστήματα κατά τη διάρκεια του αγώνα. Η τρομερή αντεπίθεση του τέταρτου δεκαλέπτου, όμως, έβαλε... φωτιά στον αγώνα.
