Όπως φαίνεται και στο παρακάτω βίντεο, ο Ρονάλντο είχε νεύρα καθ' όλη τη διάρκεια του αγώνα, ενώ μετά το τελικό σφύριγμα του διαιτητή μίλησε με "σκληρά" λόγια στους συμπαίκτες του, υποστηρίζοντας ότι δεν βοήθησαν τη Ρεάλ Μαδρίτης να φτάσει στη νίκη.

Μάλιστα, λίγο πριν πάει προς το μέρος του συμπατριώτη του, Νανί, για να μιλήσουν η κάμερα τον "έπιασε" να λέει: "Εγώ τουλάχιστον σκόραρα, εσείς τι κάνατε;"
