Μαθημένη από το φιάσκο των προηγούμενων ημερών, η Μίλαν ανακοίνωσε τον Ζεράρ Ντεουλοφέου, αλλά η ανακοίνωση δεν πρόκειται να διαγραφεί, αφού ο παίκτης φωτογραφήθηκε και με τη φανέλα της ομάδας. 

Η συμφωνία για τον δανεισμό του παίκτη είχε ανακοινωθεί πριν από λίγες μέρες από τη Μίλαν, ωστόσο η Έβερτον διαμαρτυρήθηκε, καθώς δεν είχε υπάρξει πλήρη συμφωνία μεταξύ των ομάδων, αλλά ούτε ο παίκτης είχε περάσει από ιατρικές εξετάσεις. 

Σήμερα, όμως, μπήκε τυπικό τέλος στην υπόθεση, αφού η Μίλαν ανακοίνωσε τον δανεισμό του ποδοσφαιριστή μέχρι το τέλος της σεζόν.
