Ο Προμηθέας επικράτησε της Μυκόνου Betsson με 103-83 για την 9η αγωνιστική της Stoiximan GBL. Πολύ πειστική η εμφάνιση των Πατρινών στο ντεμπούτο του Κούρα Σεγκούρα στον πάγκο τους.

Ο Προμηθέας ήταν υπερηχητικός στο πρώτο παιχνίδι του Κούρο Σεγκούρα στον πάγκο του και επικράτησε επιβλητικά της Μυκόνου Betsson με 103-83 για την 9η αγωνιστική της Stoiximan GBL.

Ο Ισπανός τεχνικός έχει κάθε λόγο να είναι χαρούμενος από τη σημερινή εικόνα της ομάδας του, που από το πρώτο μέχρι το τελευταίο λεπτό ήταν εξαιρετική.

Πολύ καλή εμφάνιση από τον Καραγιαννίδη, που πέτυχε νταμπλ νταμπλ με 16 πόντους (6/9 δίποντα, 1/1 τρίποντο) και 12 ριμπάουντ εκ των οποίων τα 7 ήταν επιθετικά.

Για τους φιλοξενούμενους ξεχώρισε ο Μουρ, σε μια βραδιά που δεν υπήρχαν πολλοί πρωταγωνιστές, έχοντας 17 πόντους (5/7 δίποντα, 1/2 τρίποντα),5 ριμπάουντ και 3 ασίστ.

Ο αγώνας

Οι γηπεδούχοι ξεκίνησαν σε δαιμονιώδη ρυθμό στην αναμέτρηση, ενώ από την άλλη οι παίκτες του Βαγγέλη Ζιάγκου έμοιαζαν να μην έχουν βγει από τα αποδυτήρια. Μοιραία ο Προμηθέας ανέπτυξε πολύ νωρίς σημαντικότατη διαφορά ξεκινώντας με 15-2, το οποίο εξελίχθηκε σε 23-3 με τα προβλήματα της Μυκόνου Bettson να μη διορθώνονται ούτε μετά από το πρώτο τάιμ άουτ της ομάδας.

Εν τέλει χρειάστηκε και το τηλεοπτικό τάιμ άουτ της πρώτης περιόδου για να ισορροπήσει η αναμέτρηση, με το πρώτο δεκάλεπτο να ολοκληρώνεται με 29-14.

Παρόμοια ήταν τα πράγματα και στη δεύτερη περίοδο, με τη Μύκονο να πλησιάζει κάποια στιγμή στους 10, όμως οι γηπεδούχοι ξεμάκρυναν αμέσως πηγαίνοντας στα αποδυτήρια με το σκορ στο 51-36.

Το δεύτερο μέρος βρήκε τις δύο ομάδες να ανταλλάσσουν καλάθια σε εξαιρετικό ρυθμό, χωρίς όμως να υπάρχουν σημαντικές διακυμάνσεις στη διαφορά. Ασφαλώς αυτό εξυπηρετούσε τους γηπεδούχους που ήταν ήδη πολύ μπροστά. Το επιμέρους σκορ της τρίτης περιόδου ήταν 30-29 με το τέταρτο δεκάλεπτο να ξεκινάει με σκορ 81-65.

Δεν ήταν τόσο η διαφορά των 16 πόντων, όσο η εικόνα της αναμέτρησης που έδειχνε πως τα τελευταία 10 λεπτά θα είναι διαδικαστικά για τις δύο ομάδες. Με τον Σεγκούρα να ζητάει από τους παίκτες του να παίξουν και για τη διαφορά χωρίς να χαλαρώνουν, οι γηπεδούχοι συνέχισαν με το ίδιο τέμπο μέχρι το τέλος.

Έτσι άνοιξαν τη διαφορά πάνω από τους 20 πόντους σπάζοντας και το φράγμα των 100 πόντων τρία λεπτά πριν τη λήξη.
